'The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim €“ Special Edition' updates, patch news: New patch available for PC and PS4 fixes some known bugs

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition, the current game available Bethesda Softworks

After a shaky start, it seems that Bethesda is continuing its efforts to fix the problems found in its remastered version of the "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim." As such, they have released yet another patch to iron out the multiple bugs present in the game.

This update is now available for the PC and the PS4, but Patch 1.04 seems to have missed the Xbox One version.

According to Gaming Bolt, the update is used to address some of the issues such as the ever-present graphical glitches as well as fixes for the issues that affects the game's stability. It also offers some fixes to the problems encountered in mods and the modding interface of "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Special Edition" in general.

Compared to its other updates, it is not a necessarily large patch but players are certainly appreciative about it nevertheless.

The complete list details that the issues with the water flow not being rendered properly has been fixed, along with the game crashes which stems from the werewolf to human transformation, as well as changing the Load Order of mods.

Thankfully, the bugs that stem from browsing mods has been fixed as well, and Bethesda even took it one step further by improving the interface of "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Special Edition."

Meanwhile, Express UK reports that the remastered of "Skyrim" has a native 4K resolution on the PS4 Pro, which certainly came with a price. While the game looks much better overall on the said console, the performance of the game is diminished as the graphics takes its toll on the title. As such, PS4 users are given lesser options when it comes to mods compared to its Xbox One counterpart.

"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Special Edition" will have another update on the way. As of the moment, the said patch is still being tested on Steam, which will determine its eventual release date.
