'The Bold and the Beautiful' spoilers, plot recap: Eric to make a change

Thursday on 'The Bold and the Beautiful', Ridge is talking to Liam and Steffy in his office. Liam goes straight to the point and asks Ridge what his plans are for them.

Ridge says that Steffy will be president, Liam will be vice president, and both of them will be under him as CEO of Forrester Creations. Liam wonders if Steffy will have an issue working with him since they have a history, and Steffy assures him that she'll be fine.

Ridge leaves them alone and talk turns to their past. Steffy asks him if he really thinks they can do this and if they can be productive. Liam notes how she has changed and tells her that he missed her.

"I'm glad you're back," he tells her.

He asks if she's dating anyone, and she says that she hasn't met anyone special. She touches his face and tells him, "You're the great love of my life, and you will always be." They're both unaware that Ivy is listening outside the door.

Carter visits Rick in his office and they talk about Maya. Rick says that he loves Maya and asks Carter if she has been in touch. Carter says that he hasn't heard from her and says that maybe they should hire someone to find her. Rick says that he doesn't want to force himself on her.

Talk turns to Ridge and Rick says that he can't stand the betrayal and that Ridge needs to learn his place. Rick says it's a brand new day at Forrester. Once Carter leaves, Rick leaves another message for Maya and begs her to call him.

Ridge enters a storage room and talks to Stephanie's portrait. He tells her that he's about to make good of his promise and says that he's taking over Forrester Creations.

Here's what to expect on 'The Bold and the Beautiful' on Friday, May 29:

Ivy goes into panic mode when she hears Liam will be working with Steffy; Nicole learns the truth about Maya and Rick; Ridge makes a last attempt at persuading Eric to make a change; Eric makes a decision; Carter talks to Maya.

'The Bold and the Beautiful' airs from Mondays to Fridays at 1:30pm on CBS.
