'The Big Bang Theory' season 10 episode 24 synopsis, spoilers: Amy 'unhappy' about Sheldon's admirer

In an upcoming episode of CBS' hit sitcom "The Big Bang Theory," Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) will be living apart. Will their time apart make their relationship stronger or will it put an end to it?

In episode 24 of "The Big Bang Theory" season 10, titled "The Long Distance Dissonance," Amy will still be stuck in Princeton for her summer research fellowship, while Sheldon will be left at home, accompanied by his usual band of friends. However, in the episode, he will meet a woman named Dr. Ramona (Riki Lindhome) who will admire him terribly. And they will be spending some time together.

"Ramona is looking to take advantage of Sheldon and he is innocently blind to it," showrunner Steve Molaro tells TVLine. "But all of his friends are acutely aware of what's going on."

According to Molaro, Amy will find out about Dr. Ramona's big crush on her boyfriend. She will not be too pleased with them spending time together. "She tells (Penny and Bernadette) to stay on top of things on her behalf while she's 3,000 miles away," the showrunner reveals. Meanwhile, Sheldon, as per usual, remains oblivious about the entire ordeal.

Furthermore, Molaro teases that the season finale will show a rather surprising cliffhanger. The showrunner tells the publication that "Big Bang" writers have a penchant for writing stories that make them nervous. This season's finale is one of those stories.

Meanwhile, "The Big Bang Theory" has been renewed for two more seasons. In the following installment, viewers can expect to see the main cast of the series reprise their roles. Bialik and Melissa Rauch have recently renewed their contracts and have settled with a better payment deal.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 episode 24, titled "The Long Distance Dissonance," airs this Thursday, May 11, at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
