The Arrow Season 4 release date, plot spoilers: Stephen Amell to don new costume in upcoming season?

The Arrow is now off the air after wining up its third season and for those who were able to catch it, a lot of loose ends were left as expected.

After thwarting the impending threat of Ra's Al Ghul, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) was last seen speeding off into nowhere with Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) seemingly happier than how Arrow fans have seen him in the past.

But before that scene, there were a lot of new developments as well. Ollie's sister Thea (Willa Holland) has stepped up to become Speedy (as suggested by his brother Ollie) and John Diggle (David Ramsey) was also advised to wear a mask to conceal his identity. Actually that scene spurred up a lot of rumors about Diggle potentially transforming into the Green Lantern (but to no avail as this was shot down).

But the real question running in the minds of many is on what lies ahead for Oliver Queen. Amell did divulge that 'Arrow is done" and that he has worn the Arrow suit for the last time (via E! Online)

Season 4 is still a long way out but it doesn't take much convincing to anyone that Ollie will of course be back to his crime-fighting ways. He is of course to still don a mask but what about his overall getup?

Many believe that it could be the much awaited transition from Arrow to the Green Arrow. With a seemingly more peaceful Oliver Queen after Season 3, we could finally see the jolly Ollie Queen from the animated series.

Thus he could look a lot like the Robin-Hood type of a getup and properly align himself in the Justice League heroes where Green Arrow actually belongs.

All of these are speculations right now but with the Arrow technically dead, what else could be in store for Oliver Queen in Season 4?

The Arrow Season 4 is set to come back by the Fall 2015.
