War is coming to "The 100"...again. At least that was what fans were able to surmise from the first season three trailer that finally hit online recently.

"The 100" season three has been gaining a lot of buzz recently, especially after The CW announced its premiere date. There have been several rumors on what fans may expect from the post-apocalyptic drama and now the guessing game may stop.

The network has finally released an extended trailer and it lets everyone in on a sneak peek of Clarke Griffin's (Eliza Taylor) fate plus the conflict between the Arkers and Grounders.

The events in Mount Weather will have some emotional repercussions on the show's characters. As shown in the trailer, it will have a huge impact on Jasper Jordan (Devon Bostick) and Monty Green (Christopher Larkin) as they spent most of their time in the shelter. Jasper, most especially, looked damaged.

Perhaps what fans most look forward to is the fate of Clarke, who left the Sky People at the end of season two after feeling that she is still unable to cope with the events of the previous war. Sporting a new badass look, she continues to be in hiding.

But her decision is what's going to spark what seems to be the main conflict of the third season: Arkers versus Grounders.

However, as E! Online noted, it may just be a civil war as the trailer mainly focused on the heat between siblings Bellamy (Bob Morley) and Octavia Blake (Marie Avgeropoulos). The tension lead the latter to telling her brother, "You're dead to me," after a violent slugfest that leaves him all bloody.

Season three, though, will not be all about war, battles, and conflict. There's also a surprising hook-up, plus a tender scene between the female Blake sibling and Lincoln (Ricky Whittle) at the 1:20 mark.

But of all the hook-ups in the trailer, what really caught everyone's attention is that Bellarke reunion. It was a mere hug but fans spazzed about it, helping "THE 100 TRAILER TODAY" become a trending topic on Twitter for hours.

"The 100" returns to The CW for season three on Jan. 21, 9 p.m.
