A lot of drama has been showcased in "Teen Moms 2" and it seems that fans would love to see more of the reality show. Will there be a "Teen Mom 2" season 7?

MTV appears to have not released an official announcement about a renewal of the reality show.

If all the cast members agree to do another show, it won't be long before a season 7 of "Teen Moms 2" will air.

However, The Ashley Reality Roundup confirmed that the show has already been ordered for another season, according to the outlet's source. The source went on to reveal that filming for season 7 has already started early in October, but it could not confirm if all teen moms will be renewing their contracts for season 7.

Apart from The Ashley's report, Wetpaint also confirmed that season 7 is underway — all thanks to teen mom Kailyn Lowry who revealed the news to the outlet.

Wetpaint exclusively got the scoop when Lowry confirmed the news a Los Angeles Star magazine event last Oct. 22 that she's filming for another season of "Teen Mom 2."

What "Teen Mom 2" season 7 will offer fans remains to be seen, but it is expected that Leah Messer's story about losing custody of her twins will be featured.

Messer lost primary custody of her twin daughters with ex-husband Corey Simms last Oct. 7 and now, the 23-year-old mother only gets to spend time with Ali and Aleeah on weekends. Simms filed the custody when he found out that the two kindergarteners have been consistently showing up to school late.

When Lowry was asked to comment on her "Teen Mom" co-star's situation, she only said she doesn't know much about the story but wished Messer the best in whatever she's going through.

An exact release date for season 7 has not been announced, but the show is expected to air sometime in summer 2016.
