After the announcement of her third pregnancy in February, Kailyn Lowry chose to keep mum about the identity of the baby's father. Recently, Kailyn finally confirmed that Chris Lopez is the father of her third child.

On Twitter, Kailyn responded to one of the headlines saying she took a DNA test and confirmed that Chris was her baby daddy. "Ancestry DNA & yeah he is... stop with the headlines already," she said.

Kailyn announced her pregnancy near the time she finalized her divorce from her previous marriage with Javi Marroquin, who is also the father of her second child, Lincoln Marshall. She had her first child, Isaac Elliot Rivera, with her ex-boyfriend, Jo Rivera.

In an interview with The Ashley, Kailyn said, "I wish Chris the best. I have nothing but positive things to say about him and it just felt like it was time to reveal that he was the dad."

The two are no longer romantically involved, but continue to remain friends for the sake of their unborn child. "Teen Mom 2" fans should also not expect Chris to appear on the show anytime soon as he refused to sign release papers that would allow MTV to use his face or name on any of the episodes.

That does not mean though that Chris hasn't appeared on the show. In a previous episode of "Teen Mom 2" season 7, Kailyn's ex-husband came home to find her with another man in the house they previously shared together. The man was identified to be Chris, but his face was blurred in the episode since he did not sign a release form for MTV.

Kailyn also previously revealed on her blog that she'll be raising this child alone, from the beginning, which is something new for her because she had her ex-husband to help her out with her two sons.

Despite the drama involving Kailyn's third child, she remains to be positive and excited to reveal the gender once she finds out.
