Police arrested a 15-year-old male student in Pocatello, Idaho, after he made threats on Facebook that he would "kill all the girls" when no one sent him nude photos.

The Pocatello Police Department said the juvenile suspect is in custody after he made the threats directed at students of Highland High School.

The threats were reported to school officials on Wednesday.

Dianne Brush of the Pocatello police told PEOPLE that possible student suspects were interviewed and the school was placed on lockdown.

Sources said the suspect posted on his Facebook page: "Fine I will bring a gun to school Friday and kill all the girls," adding that he "will do it 9:30 Friday during first hour."

"[I'm] serious I have 12 gauge shotgun and a 9mm pistol I will bring and start killing everyone. I also have hunting knives I can bring," the suspect posted.

The suspect said he will kill everyone "because no one will give it to me," referring to the nude photos. "Every one hates me. Also I will kill myself after."

He added: "I hope everyone has a will written."

Brush said the police arrested the boy after they were able to track the threats back to his phone.

The messages, Brush said, were "leaked by the victims, who started sharing texts they had received with the local papers."

She commended the victims for "coming forward" and telling school officials.

"Every threat is taken very seriously and measures such as controlled access are implemented to keep students safe. The controlled access has been cleared and Highland will have a normal school day tomorrow. Counsellors are available at the school for students who may need additional emotional support," the police said.

The suspect was charged with one count of threatening violence and another count of telephone harassment, sources said.
