Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris get cozy at Billboard Music Awards 2015

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris made their first public appearance together at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, May 17, and the couple caused quite a stir as they appeared to be very comfortable with each other at the event. At one point, the DJ even got up from his seat to hug and kiss the "Blank Space" singer.

It was a night to remember for Swift as she premiered the star-studded music video with her song "Bad Blood" alongside her celebrity friends. Moreover, the singer won eight out of the 13 categories in the awards show.

But what caused fan frenzy was the moment when Swift was announced as the winner of the Top Billboard 200 Album for "1989." As she went in for a celebratory hug from Harris, the Scottish DJ gave her a passionate embrace as well as a quick kiss. Swift's friends Ed Sheeran, Ellen Pompeo, and Zendaya were photographed smiling as they looked at the couple sharing a hug.

Later that night at an after-party hosted by Swift and Sheeran, the "Shake it Off" singer and the "Summer" hitmaker joined their friends at the photo booth set up for the fete. While other stars including members of Fifth Harmony and Sheeran were making silly faces at the camera, Swift and Harris were photographed sneaking a quick kiss.

It appears that Swift and Harris, nicknamed Tayvin by fans, are the new power couple in Hollywood. It was reported that prior to attending the Billboard Music Awards, the pair hosted an intimate dinner party at Harris' Hollywood Hills estate a few weeks ago. Only a few trusted friends were reportedly invited to the party.

"They were really happy together," said an insider to E! Online. "They were sharing hosting responsibilities, it's so cute!"

The two were first rumored to be interested in each other when they met at the Brit Awards earlier this year. They share a lot of mutual friends, and those in their inner circle cannot believe that it took them this long to get together.

"They are kind of made for one another," said one friend to E! "It's so obvious now when you see them together. They are surprisingly similar. They have the same interests. They like to hang out together in small groups with close friends. They have dinner parties; they act like a regular couple. It's a very mature relationship."
