There are just a few more days left until the release of one of the most-anticipated game this year, "Super Mario Odyssey." The 3D platform video game for Nintendo Switch will hit the market on Oct. 27.

The game is a combination of all other "Super Mario" games in the past. This sandbox-style game features the best of Mario locales including the fun New Donk City. The latest trailer of the game is by far the best one yet when Mario takes on the real world while singing and dancing. The trailer also features Mario's first love interest, Pauline, who is singing the game's theme track titled, "Jump Up, Super Star!"

Super Mario Odyssey's producer, Yoshiaki Koizumi, posted a statement on Reddit, saying Pauline is the mayor of New Donk City. "We knew that players know Pauline so we of course wanted to make her mayor of New Donk City," he wrote.

Once again, the mission is all about saving Princess Peach from Bowser.

"Super Mario Odyssey" is predicted to be one of the best and cutest Nintendo Switch game this year. The game features new Mario moves with the help of his cap, Cappy. Other than the usual run and jump controls, Mario can do cap jump, cap throw, and most of all, capture. The game is played by two players. The first player controls Mario and the second player controls Cappy and everything and everyone it captures. Cappy can capture and control lowly Goomas, Cheep Cheeps, and even a dinosaur. Other than Cappy, gamers are also looking forward to the variety of outfits and accessories they can buy from the Crazy Cap store.

New kingdoms were also confirmed by Nintendo including Snow Kingdom, Lake Kingdom, and Mushroom Kingdom.

Super Mario Odyssey is the recipient of three awards from Electronic Entertainment Expo's (E3) Game Critics Awards. The E3 event was held from June 13 to 15. The nominees were announced on June 26 and the official winners on June 28. The game was awarded Best of Show, Best Console Game, and Best Action/Adventure Game.
