"Suits" will return with brand new episodes for season 5 this month, and fans are expecting that the show will finally reveal who sold out Mike (Patrick J. Adams).

While fans will continue with their speculations as to who exposed Mike, some of them are relieved that his big secret was finally revealed in the season 5A finale episode.

What's more interesting is that even Adams thought it was great having his character's secret revealed, according to a report from Backstage.

The news outlet's Lesley O'Toole had a chance to sit with Adams to talk about his character being exposed as an unqualified practicing lawyer. "I'm really happy we've been forced to deal with something we were building up to for a long time," Adams revealed, according to the Dec. 30 report.

"I actually felt we could have done it two seasons ago," he added.

It was already confirmed by executive producer Aaron Korsh in November 2015 that none of the six main characters of the series sold out the college-dropout-turned-lawyer. But still, there are several possible suspects.

In the remaining six episodes of season 5, fans might just get a big surprise since Korsh said that the person is not someone whom he always had in mind.

"The writers came up with a different answer than I did," Korsh told TV Guide.

Korsh went on to tell that he doesn't know if the answer would really surprise the viewers, but he revealed that there are a lot of people who actually knew Mike's secret.

"There are certainly plenty of other people who could've found out and handed him in even though we've never seen them know."

When "Suits" returns with the second half of the season, it will also feature how Mike's arrest will have a consequence on Harvey (Gabriel Macht), as he might return to the firm.

Korsh also revealed that Mike and Rachel's (Meghan Markle) wedding will be in a different form.

"Suits" will return to USA Network on Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 10 p.m. EST.
