The fate of Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) will be determined in the final episode of "Suits" season 5.
According to the official synopsis for the episode titled "25<sup>th Hour," the people behind the Pearson Specter Litt law firm will be preparing to face the judge's decision regarding Mike's case.
"As Mike's day of reckoning draws near, it threatens to shatter the lives of those closest to him. Faced with the uncertain outcome of his court battle, Mike makes the one play he has left," the synopsis reads.
In the trailer for the season 5 finale, Mike seems to have accepted that he lost the case and he will soon spend his time in jail. But his friend Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) would not accept it.
Harvey appears to be determined to save his friend. But it seems like he is not the only one who wants Mike out of prison, since the entire law firm will be in danger. In the trailer, Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) asks Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) if he admitted to the court that he knew about Mike's secret. This could get Louis and the entire Pearson Specter Litt office in big legal trouble.
At the end of the trailer, Mike furiously tells Harvey, "I am not letting you go to the prison for a crime that I committed."
Meanwhile, spoilers shared by TVLine for the upcoming season 5 finale reveal that Louis's former personal associate Katrina Bennett (Amanda Schull) will be returning in the upcoming episode. However, executive producer Aaron Korsh revealed that Harvey's therapist Paula Agard (Christina Cole) could not return.
"We couldn't find a way to integrate [her] into the back six, given the path that we chose," Korsh explained. "It does not mean that we've seen the last of her. We would all like to see her again. We're just trying to work on that [for] Episode 601."
The final episode of "Suits" season 5 airs on Wednesday, March 2, on USA Network.
