Everything was going fine for Cartoon Network's quirky and progressive coming-of-age science fiction animated series "Steven Universe," until season 4 was cut off after airing a few of its episodes during its run on the network. Fans have waited for more or less two months for "Steven Universe" to return with brand new episodes. Luckily, the series is making its way back to Cartoon Network this month with a brand new episode, "Gem Harvest."

According to a report by The Geekiary, Steven and the rest of the Crystal Gems are coming back in time for the holiday season with "Gem Harvest," the newest episode to break the long "Steven Universe" dry spell. Earlier news that the episode would screen in Germany on American Thanksgiving on Nov. 24 have initially gotten fans worried that Cartoon Network would screen "Gem Harvest" a few days ahead in other countries before bringing it stateside. However, the children's network just announced that it would be showing the episode in the U.S. a week earlier. Viewers in the U.S. can get "Gem Harvest" this Thursday, Nov. 17.

Moreover, it seems like viewers are getting another half-hour special and given the series' tradition of airing heavy content during its special programs, it seems like fans are in for a ride when "Steven Universe" season 4 returns.

Last month, Cartoon Network also released a sneak peek promo clip for the new episode, where Steven helps Peridot and Lapis learn about farming by bringing a pumpkin to life. Though the two Gems soon become disappointed after the dog-like pumpkin doesn't take to them, Steven unknowingly encourages the pumpkin puppy bond with Lapis and Peridot.

Aside from special farming, it seems like Steven may meet a new Gem in "Gem Harvest" as the description of the special episode reads: "Steven's autumn visit to the barn brings a new stranger into his life."
