"Star Wars: The Force Awakens' news: Fan theories suggest Supreme Leader Snoke's identity has been revealed

The hype for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" clearly hasn't died down as evidenced by the millions of people still talking about the movie on social media. In addition, there is the mystery surrounding the Supreme Leader of the First Order, which made people wonder who the mysterious big bad is.

What's known about Snoke is that Andy Serkis plays the character and the villain is in his holographic form featuring a messed up face. Apart from that, there's nothing much known about the Supreme Leader.

However, one fan, also a Redditor, posted a video on YouTube on Dec. 22, suggesting that soundtracks from "The Force Awakens" offer hints as to who Snoke really is.

According to Adam Underkofler's theory, music from Snoke and Darth Plagueis' movies is almost identical, which may suggest that the two characters are one and the same.

Although it doesn't mean that the theory is conclusive, many fans think that the hint makes sense. According to Comic Book, Lucasfilm, director J.J. Abrams, and music composer John Williams have the reputation of slipping bits of clues into their work.

Meanwhile, Business Insider also agrees to the fan theory that Snoke is Darth Plagueis. The news portal described that Snoke's identity is based on gut feeling. But is that really possible knowing that Plagueis have been long dead?

The news portal continued to provide the explanation behind the theory, highlighting that Plagueis was learning the art of immortality and may have found a way to cheat death.

Plagueis, who was the only one who knew how to conquer death, was killed by then-apprentice, Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sidious, but it's likely that he didn't die at all.

It's possible that he may have faked his death or he learned how to resurrect himself, Business Insider explained.

Although this particular Snoke-is-Darth-Plagueis theory may appear interesting and convincing, such remains a theory.
