The Ghost crew's new adventure gets them entangled with Hondo Ohnaka once again in the next episode of "Star Wars Rebels."
Titled "The Wynkahthu Job," the installment will have the team reluctantly meet with Hondo and one particular fleet member is not happy — Zeb. At this point, if the crew had any other choice, they would no longer deal with the notorious space smuggler especially given the numerous times that he has endangered everyone but himself.
Nevertheless, it seems like the former Lasat honor guard will have no choice but to suck it up despite Hondo's taunting as the latter has something that they need in order to salvage a freighter full of weapons. As expected, when dealing with a smuggler, Hondo appears to have tweaked the information he provides to the crew.
Over the past few episodes of the hit Disney XD series, it seems like a lot of side stories have been tackled as well as some character-building pieces. For quite a while now, fans have yet to come across Darth Maul, who is supposedly this season's big baddie, after the fascinating sequence where he found out that Obi-Wan Kenobi is actually alive.
Even last week's episode, where Grand Admiral Thrawn was teased to be in the forefront of the Empire's run-in with the Ghost crew as they helped a freighter dubbed as the Iron Squadron, was kind of a let-down. Despite the Chiss tactician actually appearing in the show and somehow fans being treated to a glimpse of his menacing ways, his character has not yet been fleshed out that much.
This new episode, while tipped to be another one of those small-scale installments, is said to be a potential setup for what is to come in the foreseeable future of "Rebels." Without giving away any spoilers, folks over at the Jedi Council hinted that the events in "The Wynkahthu Job" will actually have repercussions moving forward especially with the budding Rebellion.
