'Star Wars Battlefront II' news: EA giving away Star Wars-themed items for 'NBA,' 'NHL,' 'FIFA,' and 'Battlefield 1' gamers

Star Wars inspired gears for "FIFA 18"

The video game company Electronic Arts is teasing fans of the upcoming adventure shooter video game "Star Wars Battlefront II" with Star Wars-themed items for other EA video games. The latest installment to the Star Wars video game series is scheduled to be released on Nov. 17.

According to EA, the freebies to be given is for the celebration of the release of Battlefront II. Inferno Squad-inspired gears will be given away to "NBA 2K18," "FIFA 18," and "NHL 18" players. "Battlefield 1" gamers can add the "Totokia War Club" in their melee arsenal upon logging in. Totokia is a club that originated from Fiji. The gaderfii or gaffi stick weapon carried by the Tusken Raiders of Tatooine are inspired from the Totokia.

The Inferno Squad sports apparel for "FIFA 18" will be available from Nov. 7 until Nov. 28. Gamers who are able to log into their "NHL 18" HUT accounts on Oct. 31 before 11:59 p.m. PST will automatically receive the Inferno Squad gears.

For "NBA 2K18" fanatics, the Star Wars inspired gears can be unlocked by taking on the Inferno Squad-themed live events from Nov. 7 to Nov. 14. The gears are part of EA promotional scheme for "Star Wars Battlefront II." Each offer is limited to only one person and cannot be sold, exchanged, redeemed, and substituted.

"Star Wars Battlefront II" is one of the most anticipated video games of 2017 according to critics and fans. According to Polygon who had the chance to try the game, the sequel to the Battlefront series is much bigger and more extensive compared to "Star Wars Battlefront."

The first game received a 9 out of 10 score from TrustedReviews and 8 out of 10 from IGN. The Star Wars franchise have its hand full with the release of "Star Wars Battlefront II" this November and the premiere of the film "Star Wars: The Last Jedi."
