"Stan Against Evil" releases a new episode weeks prior to its season 2 debut on Nov. 1.

Episode three, titled "Curse of the Werepony," can now be seen commercial-free via various digital platforms — IFC.com, IFC On Demand, The IFC App (Mobile, AppleTV and Roku), IFC's social media such as YouTube and Facebook, and AMC Premiere.

The second season of the much talked about horror-comedy features former sheriff Stanley Miller (John McGinley) being forced once again out of retirement following the mysterious disappearance of current sheriff Evie Barret (Janet Varney) in the first season's finale.

Still set in Willard's Mill, New England, the unlikely tandem will continue their battle against the feisty demons trying to take over their town, which was, apparently, the site of a huge witch burning in the 17th century.

Back in season 1, Miller was forced into retirement after a wild outburst at his wife's funeral. To his dismay, he was replaced by big city cop Barret. However, with mysterious things happening in town — demonic pigs and zombies, among others — the pair found themselves working together.

Those who missed "Stan Against Evil" season 1 can still watch it via Hulu, iTunes, Amazon, GooglePlay and XBox.

For season 2, the two sheriffs will once again be joined by Deborah Baker Jr. (Denise Miller), Miller's daughter, and Nate Mooney (Deputy Leon Drinkwater), Barret's right-hand man. Guest stars include Denise Boutte, Jeffrey Combs, David Koechner, Patty McCormack, and Steven Ogg.

Talking about the return of one of IFC's most successful original series debut, executive producer Dana Gould said in their official announcement, "I love the characters and I love the world, and I'm very grateful we all get to go back to Willard's Mill and blow up more stuff." Gould also executively produced top rating shows "The Simpsons" and "Parks and Recreation."

"Stan Against Evil" season 2 will have eight episodes. These will be shown in a four-week run back-to-back every Wednesday at 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. EDT, starting Nov. 1 on IFC.
