Sony has just introduced two of its "super mid-range" devices on Monday, both offering superior camera capabilities and an impressive battery life.

The two smartphones, Xperia C5 Ultra and Xperia M5 carry features that matter the most to many customers.

According to the official Sony Mobile blog post, Tony McNulty, vice president for Value Category Business Management at Sony Mobile Communications said that the team understands that people need phones that have superior photo-capturing features.

This is why the two new phones have brilliant camera qualities that surpass previous Sony phones without their performance and design affected.

First up, the C5 Ultra is an amazing phone for "selfie" lovers. The device carries two — front and rear — 13-megapixel Exmor RS cameras.

The front cam even has a flash feature to make sure every "selfie" taken is the best. Furthermore, the device runs on a 1.7 GHz octa-core processor and has a 6-inch 1080p display.

C5 Ultra also boasts of a battery life that allows the device to run for two days. Users can also enjoy watching videos for almost eight hours without worrying about the battery running low, especially during times when the phone is most needed. Furthermore, the C5 Ultra also features the "Ultra STAMINA Mode," which enhances battery life even more.

Meanwhile, the M5 is smaller in size compared to C5 Ultra but is a bit more powerful than the latter.

M5 runs on a 2GHz MediaTek x10 processor, with a 5-inch 1080p screen. It has a 3GB of RAM compared to C5 Ultra's 2GB.

As for its camera, M5 has the ability to shoot videos in 4K, so users can always have a clear and sharp footage.

Just when you thought that C5 Ultra is awesome enough, the official blog post also stated that Xperia M5 offers 21.5-megapixel back camera and a 13-megapixel front cam for "selfies."

On top of that, Xperia M5's front cam has an integrated autofocus feature together with the ability to capture full-HD quality video.

Both Xperia handsets carry a microSD slot and run on Android 5.0 Lollipop, as reported in Gizmodo.

These super mid-range Sony phones will hit the markets across selected countries in mid-August.
