Ever since Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello got engaged in December, there have been many speculations about their wedding plans, specifically, when and where the two will tie the knot. Recently, the "Modern Family" star gave an update about their nuptials in an interview with E! News.
Speaking to the website at the Screen Actors Guild Foundation's Los Angeles Golf Classic on Monday, June 8, Vergara said, "It's going to happen soon."
The star did not give a wedding date, and when asked where the ceremony will take place, Vergara said that the nuptials will take place somewhere "very far away [in a] very secret place where nobody is going to find us."
The "True Blood" actor and the "Hot Pursuit" star got engaged on Christmas Eve while they were on vacation in Hawaii. After ringing in the New Year together on the island, the pair arrived in Los Angeles and Vergara was spotted wearing a 7-carat diamond ring said to be valued close to $500,000.
Earlier this year, Us Weekly reported that the couple was seen looking very cozy as they did some wedding planning in Palm Beach, Florida in February. At the time, it was reported that the two were checking out Breakers Resort as a potential wedding location. The two were also seen dining at the resort's restaurant, where they were seen discussing the cake for their special day.
While the happy couple is keeping mum about their wedding plans, Vergara has spoken candidly with Redbook magazine about their plans to have a baby. The actress said that she wants to have a baby with Manganiello.
"Joe is younger than me. He's 38. He's never had kids. How am I going to say no?" she told the magazine.
Meanwhile, the actress appears to have found the love of her life after her tumultuous relationship with her ex, Nick Loeb.
"I finally realized that relationships don't need to be so much work. Ever since we met, it's been so easy," she marvels at her relationship with the "Magic Mike XXL" actor.
Manganiello is said to be smitten with the actress as a source told Radar, "Sofia is everything and more that Joe has dreamed of since he was a little boy."
