After the rumor that Kody Brown has plans of adding two more wives swirled, it is now said that he is battling his midlife crisis. This is said to be what will happen next when TLC's "Sister Wives" returns for its eighth season.

The polygamous husband has already four wives and 18 children and he is apparently planning to make it even bigger by adding two more wives. This can be attributed to a condition called midlife crisis, which affects anyone aged 45 to 60. Kody is 47, possibly stressed out and is likely to be suffering from one, according to several reports.

However, there is no confirmation of Kody's plan and TLC is said to be unaware of it. Many fans are also aware that such a situation does not end up like a fairy tale story. It will definitely end with an unhappy ending, Ecumenical News previously stated.

It is now speculated that the upcoming season of "Sister's Wives," if it gets a green-lit, will tackle even more of the families problems, specifically the wives'. It is believed that the four wives explicitly stated before that they do not want any more addition to the family. They might not be able to handle the situation any longer if there will be additional wives according to another report.

Another possible angle that season 8 may put up is a hidden wife of Kody. There are other rumors that point to this direction, though, and neither the showrunners nor the producers have made any comments on it, Parent Herald added.

Meanwhile, Kody Brown and his wives are said to petition the U.S. Supreme Court for plural marriage to be legally recognized in Utah. The Browns have until Sept. 10 to file a certiorari petition for their case to be reviewed by the highest court in the country. U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor granted the extension, Fox News reported.

"Sister Wives" episode 8 has not been confirmed yet, but fans are hoping for an announcement from TLC soon.
