'Sister Wives' season 6 spoilers and cast update: Meri leaving for good?

Meri Brown's decision in "Sister Wives" Season 5 finale came as a shock to everyone. Meri decided to divorce Kody Brown so that Robyn would replace her as a legal wife. She did this because she wants Robyn's kids to be officially part of the Brown family.

The fans of the show found Meri's decision to be very unselfish and heroic. However, fans are also wondering what is next for Meri now that she is no longer Kody's wife and she has no kids to attend to, as her only child is already in college.

Based on Meri's recent tweets, it appears that Meri is also confused as to what she will do with her new found marriage. Nonetheless, Meri doesn't look depressed or sad about what happened. Rather, she looks at her freedom as a way of exploring different options for her future. Being a follower of the Lord, she waits for signs that will point her in the right direction.

In a tweet on April 7, she said "So many hopes & dreams for my future, now figuring out the steps to get there."

On April 13, she then tweeted "Do you believe in signs? They're all around us if we open our eyes and choose to believe."

Based on Meri's tweets alone, it looks like Meri is already taking important steps towards a new future for herself. And yet, she is still unsure whether it is the right path for her.

These revelations from Meri created speculations that Meri may just want to leave the show altogether. Right now, Meri looks like she has two options to choose from: to stay with the Browns and remain involved in the family or leave the show and make a new life of her own.

While Meri's future is unclear, Robyn and Kody will embark on their new marriage in "Sister Wives" Season 6 which will air this fall.
