Seattle Seahawks vs Kansas City Chiefs live stream: Watch NFL pre-season football online (Game preview)

The Seattle Seahawks and the Kansas City Chiefs get ready to face off against one another on Friday night in an NFL pre-season game. Preparations are now well underway for the new football season, and both these sides will want to ramp things up a degree more tonight so they hit the ground running when the regular season gets started in just a few weeks time now. Tonight's game has a scheduled start time of 8 p.m. ET and takes place from Arrowhead Stadium. The game can be watched online through live stream via the link below.

Last season the Seahawks were unable to repeat their Super Bowl heroics from a few seasons ago, but that means their desire for further success this season will be that much greater.

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has now firmly established himself among the best in the league, and last season he completed 285 of 452 throws for 3,475 yards and 20 touchdowns. That's not bad at all for a quarterback in a team that relies heavily on the rush.

The big hit man for the Seahawks last season was of course Marshawn Lynch who carried 280 times for an amazing 1,306 yards and 13 touchdowns. Wilson himself carried 118 times for 849 yards and 6 touchdowns!

That means last season, out of 375.8 total yards per game on average, the Seahawks posted 172.6 yards on the ground, and 203.1 yards in the air. It is that diversity of offense that often left opposition defenses confused and exposed.

For the Chiefs meanwhile, Alex Smith last season completed 303 of 464 attempts for 3,265 yards and 18 touchdowns. Jamaal Charles was the man smashing holes through opposition defenses, and he carried 206 times for 1,033 yards and 9 touchdowns.

Overall the Chiefs posted an average of 318.8 total yards per game, with 198.8 yards coming on the pass, and 119.9 yards coming on the ground.

The Seahawks will be favorites to win this one, but during pre-season anything can happen as a lot of experimentation is still taking place.

Today's game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Kansas City Chiefs has a start time of 8 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream by clicking here.
