'Scream Queens' season 2 spoilers: Summer camp to be featured in next season?

Season 2 may already be in the works for "Scream Queens." Facebook/Fox

"Scream Queens" season 1 is about to finish the first season this Tuesday, with a finale episode running for two hours.

FOX has not announced a renewal for the horror-comedy series, but the second season just might feature a Summer Camp theme — at least that's what actress KeKe Palmer wanted.

The idea of a summer camp theme was thrown in by "Scream Queens" star Oliver Hudson during a November appearance on "Watch What Happens Live" with Andy Cohen, Design&Trend reported.

Careful about sharing spoilers, the 39-year-old Hudson only said "Think summer camp."

The 22-year-old Palmer then expressed to Hollywood Life that she agrees the theme would be great.

"I loved the idea of the Summer Camp. I love that because it reminds me of Jason [from Friday the 13th], it reminds me of horror movies that I grew up watching and loving," the actress told the outlet.

She also added that she is excited about how creator Ryan Murphy would deal with the show.

Although FOX has yet to announce another season, Murphy already revealed juicy details about the new season during a Q&A at Fright Fest held in New York last October.

The fate of the characters for the end of season 1 has yet to be revealed in the upcoming episode but Murphy already shared what fans can expect from season 2. It will include new threats, new villains, and new venue.

"In the second season, the survivors go off to a new venue, a horror based venue, and then they have to fight a new killer, a new villain, a new threat," Murphy said at the panel. Casting for second season also has started, Murphy continued.

Aside from three or four survivors in season 1 finale, the show will introduce 10 characters in the upcoming season.

Meanwhile, catch the finale episode of "Scream Queens" season 1 on Tuesday, Dec. 8, at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
