Merely months after unveiling the device early this year at the Consumer Electronics Show, Samsung has announced that its newest hybrid tablet, the Galaxy TabPro S, is now available in the U.S.

The latest roll-out joins the global release of the new tablet in some part of Europe as the Galaxy TabPro S is reported to be released in the U.K. as well.

Right now, fans can purchase the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S at Best Buy with a retail price tag of $899. At some point in the future, the hybrid tablet will also be listed on the Samsung U.S. website.

While Samsung has yet to say when the tablet will be posted on their U.S. site, it was revealed that since the hybrid 2-in-1 carries the latest Windows platform, it will be listed on the Microsoft Store website and displayed at different Microsoft Stores across the country starting April 4. Aside from the U.S. branches, the tablet will also be showcased at Microsoft Stores in Canada and Puerto Rico.

Since its launch, the new Samsung Galaxy tablet has made some positive first impressions among observers. According to Computer World, it is a difficult choice between the new Galaxy TabPro S and the frontrunner in the 2-in-1 business, Microsoft's Surface Pro 4. While the two tablets share some similarities, each one has its own strengths.

Much like most Windows-based tablet hybrids, the Galaxy TabPro S combines mobility and computing performance. Although thin at 6.3 mm at its thickest point, the Samsung Galaxy hybrid features a sixth-gen Intel Core M processor, 2 GB of RAM, and a 12-inch 1440p AMOLED display.

Users can choose between 128GB and 256GB storage. The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S also has two versions of the Windows 10 platform, the Home and Pro editions.
