The Galaxy S7 has been in the rumor mills for quite a while but it is only recently that a slew of new details about Samsung's purported flagship came around. The newly-emerged information hints that the device will be quite a treat to photo-loving users.
New reports claim that a dual camera system is being prepared for the smartphone. This setup is similar to the HTC One M8 — one shooter captures the photo while the other detects the depth and other details that will allow users to change the focal point of the image and many more.
As for the rest of the specs, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to boast a display as big as 5.7 inches, which is quite an upgrade from the current 5.1-inch Galaxy S6. There are also speculations that the Galaxy S7 will come in two sizes, the other one being as big as its predecessor.
Similarly, other reports from publications based in Korea also claim that the Galaxy S7 will have two versions but instead of 5.1 inches, the first one will be 5.2 inches and the other will come with a much more sizable 5.8-inch touchscreen and not 5.7 inches.
Previous leaks also hinted that there will be Galaxy S7 units with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor while the greater portion of the supply will have the South Korea-based company's very own Exynos M1 chipsets. Tech Times says that the flagship will also be one of devices Samsung will launch with 6 GB of RAM.
The tech firm recently announced that they are planning to manufacture the first ever smartphone with 12Gb LPDDR4 mobile DRAM. That equates to a whopping 6 GB RAM and it is very probable that the Galaxy S7 will be one of its smartphones that will house this memory.
The device, codenamed Project Lucky, is also being touted to have Android 5.1.1 Lollipop on board. It will reportedly offer 64 GB of storage space for users' favorite apps, games as well as memory-preserving photos and videos.
