UFC Women's Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey may be focused on her match with Bethe Correia at UFC 190  in Rio de Janeiro on August 1, but it seems that this will not be the only event she has coming up.

The Hollywood Reporter reveals that Rousey is set to appear in 'Mile 22,' another Hollywood flick.

Peter Berg will direct the movie, which will also include actors Mark Wahlberg and Iko Uwais. Filming will begin in mid-May.

In the movie Rousey and Uwais will team up as CIA agents and, along with a police officer played by Wahlberg investigate a case tied up with political corruption. The team will try to transport a compromised informant from the city to an airport that is "22 miles" away.

The team will have to deal with crooked cops, criminals and guerrillas bent on stopping the transport of the informant.

This will be the second time Rousey and Wahlberg will be teaming up for a movie after sharing the limelight in "Entourage," which was released last month.

Rousey has been involved in Hollywood films such as "The Expendables 3," where she formed part of a new and younger team that Sylvester Stallone organized, and "The Fast and The Furious 7," where she appeared as one of the bodyguards of a rich tycoon.

With the film a bit far off, Rousey's main focus is UFC 190, where she will engage Bethe Correia in what she calls "a different fight" compared with her previous matches. This apparently stems from the suicide tweet that Correia made, not knowing that Rousey lost her father to suicide.

Rousey fought Cat Zingano last February 28 at UFC 184, which ended after only 14 seconds when the reigning UFC Women's Bantamweight champion forced Zingano to surrender.

An American mixed martial artist, judoka and actress, Rousey is the first and current UFC Women's Bantamweight champion as well as the last Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight champion. She remains undefeated in MMA and has won nine of her eleven fights by armbar. Rousey was also the first American woman to earn an Olympic medal in judo at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.
