Will Ronda Rousey join WWE roster soon?

Ronda Rousey needs no elaborate introduction. She is the reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight champion and is a familiar fixture in the world of movies. That and, perhaps, more are in store for Rousey; but there is a chance that her star could further shine once she retires from the UFC.

Rousey has hinted that she may likely stop fighting in the UFC once she reaches her 30s. She reasons that she doesn't see herself doing this or doing that, basically a general explanation with no elaboration.

But, of course, all that can still change in the coming years, with a lot depending on her UFC run and possibly her film commitments.

Assuming, however, that Rousey stays true to her word, the UFC's loss could very well be the World Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) gain.

After making a surprise appearance at Wrestlemania 31, it seems that Rousey is still among the people who are still hung over. But in her case, it is not a plain case of appearing on an as needed basis but by becoming a regular.

Rousey shared these comments with Fox Sports Australia, something that should spice things up a bit for WWE fans who have been longing for her to come back.

"After getting a taste of it I'm definitely going to find a way to get back in there. I don't know how or when but I don't think any true wrestling fans would want to know anyway. They'd want to be surprised. I've got to get back in there somehow," Rousey said.

So it now becomes a waiting game for the WWE Universe, particularly for the ones who whooped it up when she appeared at Wrestlemania 31 alongside Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Counting the years, that could be in 2018 as long as she doesn't have a change of heart or suffers any setback.

But the question now is will UFC president Dana White allow that to happen easily? Surely, White will not just give up Rousey unless, of course, he finds someone capable of taking her place.

How about the promising Paige VanZant? Could she take the place of the Rowdy one?
