Only two more episodes to go before "Riverdale" season 1 ends, and a whole lot of drama and revelations are about to unfold.

The CW has released the synopsis for the upcoming season finale and it teases that the truth about the Blossom's family business will be revealed, which will drive Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) to "take matters into her own hands." What could this secret be? Could it have something to do with Jason's (Trevor Stines) death or why Cheryl has always been treated differently from her deceased twin?

Other events that have been teased in the synopsis include Archie (KJ Apa) and Veronica (Camila Mendes) getting closer, Betty (Lili Reinhart) getting fed up with her family's issues and confronting her mother about it, Jughead (Cole Sprouse) finding himself in an unexpected situation that affects his friends, and Hermione (Marisol Nichols) giving Fred (Luke Perry) an offer that seems "too good to be true."

While there's no mention of revealing the identity of Jason's killer in the synopsis, it has been previously reported that the reveal is bound to happen before season 1 ends.

In other news, there's a wild theory that one of the secrets to be revealed before the current season closes is that Archie is related to the Blossom siblings. According to PopSugar, it may not be a coincidence that three good-looking redheads all ended up in the small town of Riverdale. The fact that several characters have commented on how Jason and Archie share the same physical features could also hint that there's something more. The entertainment website's theory is that Mr. Andrews and Mrs. Blossoms once had an affair, and born out of this affair are Cheryl and Jason.

Whether or not there is truth to this theory, fans will have to wait for the last few episodes of "Riverdale" season 1 to find out.

"Riverdale" season 1 returns Thursday, April 27, at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
