The first season of "Riverdale" is about to come to an end, but the mystery surrounding the death of Jason Blossom (Trevor Stines) has yet to be unraveled. The clues have left the viewers confused, and now everyone is pretty much a suspect. However, more secrets are said to be revealed before the current season of The CW's hit TV series closes.

The show's executive producer, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly about what is to come in the last few episodes of "Riverdale" season 1, and it looks like major secrets that could change everything will be revealed.

"There are still some huge ones, huge secrets to come in the last two or three [episodes]; kind of game-changing secrets, I would say," Aguirre-Sacasa told the entertainment outlet. "There's more of that in the stretch from [episodes] 11-13; you just get deeper and deeper into the swamp of secrets."

Most of the characters' secrets have already been revealed, but according to Screen Rant, it is the parents in the town of Riverdale who seem to have the darkest ones.

It was previously uncovered that Clifford Blossom (Barclay Hope) and Cheryl Blossom (Madelaine Petsch), Jason's father and twin sister, respectively, had been paying the still faceless Hiram Lodge, Veronica Lodge's (Camila Mendes) father, a crazy amount of money up until he was put to jail. This has led to speculations that Hiram killed, or had someone kill, Jason as a revenge. Southside Serpents leader Forsythe "F.P." Jones (Skeet Ulrich), Jughead Jones' (Cole Sprouse) father, was also revealed to have done some jobs for Hiram in the past. Whether or not Hiram hired F.P. to kill Jason, the only sure thing is that the Serpents leader knows who did it.

Lastly, there is Hal Cooper (Lochlyn Munro), the father of Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart) and Polly Cooper (Tiera Skovbye), who has confessed to holding a lifelong grudge against the Blossoms because great-grandfather Blossom apparently killed great-grandfather Cooper over their maple syrup business. Speculations say that Hal could have killed Jason to prevent his daughter Polly, who is pregnant with Jason's twins, from having anything to do with the family that he hates.

Could any of them be holding the "game-changing secrets" that the show's EP was talking about?

"Riverdale" season 1 returns on Thursday, April 27, at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
