Real Housewives of Atlanta's Phaedra Parks keeps faith in God following Apollo Nida split

It's a season of change for Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks after making the difficult decision to end her marriage to Apollo Nida but she's keeping positive with help from the Lord.

There might be upheaval going on in her private life but Parks was all smiles when she paid a visit to Bishop Noel Jones' City of Refuge Church, where signed copies of her book Secrets of a Southern Belle.

She also took part in a worship service with Bishop Noel, one of the stars of the Preachers of LA reality TV show and posted pictures of the pair together to her Instagram.

Parks was recently on The Ellen Degeneres Show, during which she opened up about her husband's imprisonment for eight years for fraud.

Prior to appearing on the show, she posted a picture to Instagram of a gift basket she had prepared for Ellen that included what appeared to be a FixItJesus T-Shirt.

She admitted to Ellen that the prospect of raising their two young sons alone was "extremely hard" and that her heart "aches" for them.  But she strongly denied rumors that she cheated on Apollo.

"I think it's totally absurd to think that I cheated," she said.

"They're saying I had an affair with a man from Africa named Chocolate.  Now everybody knows that I do love a Snickers bar every once in a while but it's definitely not a man from Africa that I've ever had an affair with."

She added: "I think sometimes when people are hurting they do things to hurt other people and there's been a lot of lashing out from Apollo because I think he's in a place - a very angry place - and I think you hurt the people who are closest to you sometimes."
