Last week, it was reported that Claudia Jordan will not be returning to "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," and TMZ claims that it was Bravo's decision to exclude the TV and radio personality from its eighth season. Although neither Bravo nor Jordan has confirmed the reports, Perez Hilton claims that the network has already found its replacement for Jordan.
According to the website, sources have exclusively revealed to them that Kim Fields, who is famous for playing Tootie on "The Facts of Life" and for her role on "Living Single," is joining the cast of "RHOA." Since her days on "Living Single," Fields has directed and produced several sitcom episodes and appeared on the 2012 film "What to Expect When You're Expecting." Fields has been married to actor Christopher Morgan since July 2007 and they have two children together.
The Daily Dish was able to check in with Bravo Production to shed light on the casting rumors, and they told the site, "It's still too early to talk about who's confirmed for the next season."
The production team for "RHOA" added that they have not begun filming and is looking forward to announcing details soon.
Meanwhile, very little is known about season 8 of the hit Bravo show, and there's even less news about who among the original cast members will be coming back for the upcoming season. There were rumors that the network was letting go of some of the cast members, and Phaedra Parks was allegedly included in that list. But her rep informed RumorFix that there isn't any truth to the rumors and that the mother of two is definitely onboard for season 8.
"Phaedra is definitely returning to the show and any reports to the contrary are nonsense," Parks' rep told the website.
Reality Tea reports that Bravo recently filmed Parks' European vacation where she was joined by her mother, Pastor Regina Belle, and a group of her girlfriends as they traveled to Italy and France. The website also says that Parks joined NeNe Leakes to celebrate Porsha Williams' 34th birthday this weekend and that the outing was filmed for "RHOA" season 8.
