Pokémon fans have been waiting in anticipation for the games, "Pokémon Sun" and "Moon." Before anyone forgets, here are a few special treats that each trainer should be aware of.

Players who get a copy of either "Pokémon Sun" or "Pokémon Moon" can get a special Munchlax via mystery gift. The noteworthy thing about this baby pokémon is that it holds a Snorlium Z, which allows it to use an extremely powerful and exclusive Z-move called Pulverizing Pancake once it evolves into Snorlax. In order to get Munchlax to evolve, it has to have the maximum friendship with the trainer and have it leveled up.

The received Munchlax is at level 5, and it will have two moves that it normally doesn't have. Happy Hour doubles the prize money when used in battle, while Hold Back is a physical move that damages the enemy but will leave 1 HP, ideal for catching other pokémon. The distribution is until Jan. 11, 2017.

Perhaps the event everyone is waiting for is the much-awaited release of the new mythical pokémon, Magearna. The said pokémon was first seen in "Pokémon the Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel."

In order to obtain it, players need to visit pokemon.com on Dec. 5 to find the QR code that unlocks Magearna for the "Pokémon Sun" and "Moon" games. In order to use it, the player has to unlock the QR Scanner feature in the main story of the game. Players need not worry about not getting to that specific point in the game on Dec. 5 because the code remains live until March 5, 2017.

Magearna will be received at level 50 with its unique ability, Soul-Heart, allowing it to gain +1 special attack when an ally faints. It will also be holding a Bottle Cap, an important item when doing hyper training later on in the game.

Aside from the two special pokémon, players who were able to play the special demo version should remember to transfer Ash-Greninja to their main games. This pokémon knows Battle Bond, an ability seen in the animé series, that transforms its looks and boosts the water shuriken's power when an enemy is defeated.
