The alternate reality game (ARG) "Pokemon GO" has certainly faced a lot of issues ever since it got launched back in July, and all the bugs and problems that have been noticed by gamers certainly affected the positive reception that the title enjoyed when it was first made available to players around the world.

However, "Pokemon GO" seems to be gaining some traction once again as its recent successes have left Niantic all the more optimistic about the game's lifespan. The company even went so far as to say that "Pokemon Go" will become the "World of Warcraft" of mobile games in terms of longevity.

According to Game Rant, the "Pokemon GO" game has already attained something legendary in terms of its place in the history of gaming. After all, the game was met with an unforeseen degree of success that its team of developers — which is only made up of a handful of people — has been struggling to keep up with its user fan base ever since.

Unfortunately, some poor decisions marred its relationships with its players, mainly when it comes to the removal of the third party tracker apps that were supposed to help avid gamers find Pokemon.

However, Mike Quigley —Niantic's CMO — basically said in an interview that the reason why the apps were banned is due to the fact that it was overwhelming the server side of the game. It is a tough balance for Niantic to keep the fans happy while ensuring that the game is still accessible to all of the players worldwide.

Regardless, the company has received some positive feedback lately as they implemented the seasonal events as well as the daily bonuses and regular content updates. According to Game Spot, Quigley even said that the "Pokemon GO" game is more of an MMO than a simple mobile game as they plan to release new content or bug fixes every two weeks to give players more to enjoy while completing their list of Pokemon.

Lastly, Quigley encourages players to "stay tuned" for the anticipated release of the pseudo-legendary Pokemon Ditto, as well as other game features such as Pokemon trading and the reintroduction of the Nearby Pokemon feature.
