'Pokemon GO' cheats, tips, tricks: group hunting and other ways to catch them all

"Pokémon GO" has become a phenomenal game, driving many gamers to the streets and everywhere they can be. As more and more countries are joining the frenzy, here are a few tips, cheats and tricks that one can do in order to catch them all.

Hunt in pairs, or groups and at night (safely)

Pokémon appears not just for a single player, everybody in the area can have a chance to catch the same character, so hunting in pairs or in groups is encouraged. It is also fun to chitchat with your friends while wandering around your neighborhood.

Now, there are also night-time Pokémon characters so you have try going out at night. However, safety is the top priority here so avoid areas that are not safe. Group hunting is also preferred.

Go to parks or areas with multiple Pokéstops

Populated areas are a good place to search for these characters., but if there is a park with a body of water, or a beach park, that will be much better. Areas with multiple Pokéstops is on the top of the list to visit, everybody in the group will never run out of Pokémon.

Imore added that Pokéstops allow more characters to spawn, especially with a lure.

Visit more often parking lots and gasoline stations

Parking lots and gasoline stations are a few of the favorite places these characters love to spawn. There are reports that up to six common Pokémon are showing up in some parking lots around the world.

Turn off AR to conserve battery juice

Augmented reality, AR, is a great thing, however, it consumes a lot of the power juice of the phone. Flip it off until it is time to capture them.

Use the radar ring to find Pokémon

The player's avatar has a small pulsing ring, this acts as a radar for the game. Once it indicates zero steps, stand still for a moment and let the radar bring out the Pokémon from hiding. Rushing into areas does not really help, it might only bring in trouble.

For those who have collected a significant number of powerful virtual friends, BGR suggests that it is time to go to battle. It is now time to conquer a gym.
