The "Pokémon GO" game require players to move around often to collect Pokémon. Players are required to use the GPS and camera features of their smartphones and go to specific locations to find these treasures. However, there are instances when they cannot physically go out and hunt these Pokémon, instances when they are probably tired after work or after school, feeling sick, or when the weather does not permit it. Now, there is a way to catch these creatures without going out of their house.

Players using Android devices need the following: A rooted device (Xposed Framework & installer and Systemless Xposed can be used if a user does not want to root their device), the "Pokémon GO" app, and the Pokémon GO Joystick module (v2.4.3).

"Pokémon GO Joystick" will run on top of the game, with directional arrow buttons showing up on the screen. These buttons can then be used to move the player in any desired direction. The player's walking speed can also be adjusted.

Additionally, a Boomerang feature will move a player to the desired location instantly, which is useful if the desired Pokémon is in a body of water (a lake), in the middle of the road, or in a thick forest. The app can also clear the fake location history, search a specific location, bookmark favorite locations, and even set specific coordinates (latitude and longitude) as a starting location on the map.

The "Pokémon GO Joystick" app is still in its beta stage, so players should expect to encounter bugs and glitches.

Players using iOS devices can also experience catching these "Pokémon GO" monsters without leaving the comfort of their homes. Players can download the "PokémonGoAnywhere" app, which works similarly with its Android counterpart. One can go anywhere in-game by simply tapping the arrow/directional buttons and by adjusting one's walking speed. iOS devices should be jailbroken and contain Tutuapp in the first place to use this method.

"Pokémon GO" is one of the hottest games for Android and iOS devices. It is free to download, but in-game purchases may apply.
