"Rollercoaster Dreams" has been announced to arrive together with the PlayStation VR when it launches on Oct. 13. Additionally, the virtual reality headgear will also arrive in several Asian countries on the same day as the U.S.
Developer Bimboosoft recently announced that their amusement park management game, "Rollercoaster Dreams," will be available on the PlayStation VR when it launches in October. The news was shared by the studio's president, Hirofumi Hattori, on the PlayStation Blog.
Hattori said, "Hiya! I'm pleased to announce that Bimboosoft is bringing Rollercoaster Dreams to PS4 and PS VR on October 13."
He added, "Rollercoaster Dreams is an amusement park management game. You can play in your own amusement parks, and amusement parks made by players from all over the world! The game supports PlayStation VR, so you can feel like you're truly in the game world."
Meanwhile, Sony Interactive Entertainment also held a press conference in Hong Kong and stated that there are 13 games being developed in the region for the PlayStation VR. These games are "O! My Genesis VR," "The Occasional Encounter," "Stifled," "The School: Swan Song," "Unearthing Mars," "Ace Banana," "Pixel Gear," "Mortal Blitz VR," "Mixip," "Weeping Doll," "Kill X VR," "Phantom World" and "Dying Reborn," Dual Shockers mentioned in its report.
CNET added that the upcoming virtual reality headgear will be available in Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines. However, it will be a about 10 percent more expensive compared to what the Americans will be paying. Upon its release, its retail price is pegged at SG$599 , which is around US$ $445. The U.K. will have a £349 retail price, while Australia can have it for AU$550.
The publication then mentioned that the cost does not include the motion-tracking Move controllers and PlayStation Camera, which are required to have an immersive VR experience.
The PlayStation VR is set to launch worldwide on Oct. 13 with a price tag of US$399 and is expected to have between 50 to 60 games available upon its release.
