PlayStation Plus September 2016 free games list features 'Lords of the Fallen' and 'Journey' on PS4, 'Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands' and 'Datura' on PS3

PlayStation Plus games for September 2016 has been announced. PlayStation Europe Blog

Sony recently announced the free games that PlayStation Plus members would be enjoying this September.

The games revealed by the company include:

  • "Lords of the Fallen," PS4
  • "Journey," PS4, PS3
  • "Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands," PS3
  • "Datura," PS3
  • "Badland," PS Vita, PS4, PS3
  • "Amnesia: Memories," PS Vita

"Lords of the Fallen" is an action role-playing game developed by Deck 13 Interctive and CI Games. The game features an environment that is both mysterious and interconnected. They will then battle disfigured enemies and bosses with axes and hammers.

'Journey,' an indie game created by Thatgamecompany, which originally released for the PlayStation 3 back in 2012 and by arrived on the PlayStation 4 in 2015. A player takes the role of a wandering robed figure in a desert. The objective is to reach the mountaintop at a distant, but will have to pass through a once-thriving civilization, the ancient automatons, and endure the weather as a player treks the mountain.

"Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands," from Ubisoft's "Prince of Persia" series and was released in 2010. The timeline for the game is between the 7-year gap in the story between "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" and "Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones."

Meanwhile, "Datura," from Plastic Group based in Poland, takesplayers in an interactive journey through a mysterious forest. The game provide the gamers the illusion that they can touch the items in the game. The game features the use of either the PlayStation Move or DualShock 3. "Badland," on the other hand, is from Frogmind Games that was released in 2013 and is a puzzle-based game. Players flies around as a black creature named Clony, who travels through the forest all throughout the day. The environment changes from dawn, noon, dusk and night.

Last for the month is "Amnesia: Memories," another one for the handheld PlayStation Vita, was developed by Idea Factory and is about waking up with a previous memory as a Heroine. Players will then explore the world as a complete stranger.

The offerings will be available for PlayStation Plus members starting Sept. 6.
