The batch of free games to be offered for free for the month of December as part of the PlayStation Plus Games has finally been revealed by Sony. With these gratis titles, the company promises that it has the gaming endeavors of players subscribed to the service very well taken care of.

As usual, PS4 PS Plus members are getting two complementary titles. The first one is a fun top-down hack and slash dungeon crawl RPG video game called "Gauntlet: Slayer Edition," which will allow gamers to search for gold, slay atrocious foes and discover powerful weapons with their gamer pals.

The second one puts PS Plus gamers with PS4 consoles on another mission – this time, to become a gallant knight. The first installment in the reimagining of the "King's Quest" franchise, the rebooted adventure game "A Knight to Remember" will be downloadable without charge starting next month.

PS3-playing subscribers of PS Plus will get a treat in the form of the comedic first-person shooter video game "Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon." As one would expect of a game set in a dystopian, retro-futuristic open world, the standalone "Far Cry" installment has all the components gamers need to master and fit in with the era of cyborgs and super-soldiers.

Gamers with the last-gen console are also getting EA's famed snowboarding arcade-style racing game "SSX" without shelling any cent. Subscribers will get to enjoy the fun of performing wicked snowboarding tricks and dominating challenging race tracks all while saving some bucks, thanks to PS Plus.

Of course, Sony has something for the loyalists of the PS Vita. First, they get to contribute on the side of the Panopticons in the third-person battle action RPG "Freedom Wars" and then they have to master the art of shooting and puzzle-solving in the platform adventure game "Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken."
