The list of free games coming in April for members of PlayStation Plus has yet to be announced officially, but one title has already been revealed.

A PlayStation spokesperson has confirmed to GameSpot that "Dead Star" is one of the games that will be given away to PS Plus members next month. This came after a PlayStation customer with Twitter handle BLAMdrew pre-ordered a PS 4 version of "Dead Star." He received a message from the company dated March 8 informing him that he would get a refund for his purchase since the title will be made available for free the following month.

The message, which he shared on the microblogging site, reads: "Thank you for your recent pre-order of Dead Star for PlayStation 4. We're excited to announce that Dead Star will be a free game for PlayStation Plus members in April. As such, we are refunding the full amount of your pre-order."

The reaction to the post has generally been positive, and it seems that many PS Plus members welcome the news. The arcade/shooter game, developed by Armature Studio, lets players enjoy up to 10v10 multiplayer gameplay, requiring them to strengthen offense and defense and gather resources.

While waiting for the free games for April, PS Plus members who use the PlayStation 4 console still have the chance to download "Broforce" and "Galak-Z," which will be available for free for the whole month of March. "Broforce" centers on a paramilitary group called Broforce, an underdog when it comes to funds and power, but is the only hope in defeating a threat to the world. "Galak-Z," meanwhile, is a physics-driven 2D shooter that challenges the gamer to fly a ship while overcoming enemies in a procedurally generated environment.

PlayStation 3 users, on the other hand, can enjoy "The Last Guy" and "Super Stardust HD," while PS Vita owners can have "Flame Over" and "Reality Fighters."

PlayStation Plus gives away free games each month to its members. There is a 14-day free trial, and should a gamer wish to subscribe, they need to dish out $9.99 for a one-month membership, $17.99 for three months, or $49.99 for 12 months.
