With Big Mom still upset over the events from the previous chapter of "One Piece," she is expected to plot her revenge against Luffy D. Monkey in chapter 864, ruining his and Capones' plan to assassinate her.

The previous chapter of "One Piece" showed the Straw Hat Pirates successfully invading Sanji and Pudding's wedding. The Pirates ordered Big Mom's daughter to create clones of the captain. Following the captain's order, they put Brulee's mirror inside the wedding cake. Big Mom was infuriated when the cake fell.

With several versions of Luffy, it was difficult for Big Mom to determine where he was. However, Luffy did the unimaginable and revealed himself to Big Mom, which put him into immediate danger. Just in time, Jinbei arrived at the scene creating a distraction for the Yonko, which saved Luffy's life in the end. Saving the life of Big Mom's enemy, Luffy, leaves to the conclusion that Jinbei no longer wants to be part of Big Mom's crew. Jinbei later on requested to join the Straw Hats crew.

As this was all happening, one of Luffy's clones went to see the portrait of Mother Caramel, which is known to be Big Mom's weakness. At the end of the episode, Luffy's clone is seen taking a hammer to the portrait and destroying it. There have been discussions in fan threads that the clone was Brook, but such has not been confirmed.

Following the invasion of her daughter's wedding and the destruction of her prized portrait of Mother Caramel, Big Mom is expected to have a lot of anger and frustration in her in the coming episode. This may make it impossible for Luffy and Capones to carry out their plan of assassinating Big Mom.

The release of chapter 864 has been delayed because of the golden week holiday. Fans of "One Piece" can expect the upcoming chapter to finally come out on May 8.
