The gaming community is waiting for the announcement that will be made for the Nintendo Switch by January next year. By March, it is expected to be released in all regions, but, something will also happen by February, the Tokaigi 2017: Game Party Japan. The event will feature the new device and will be playable as well.
According to WCCFTech, Japanese game fans and those who can travel to Japan will have the opportunity to try out the Nintendo Switch before it is released. The company will bring it over at the event, which will happen from Feb. 11 and 12 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. The gaming crowd will surely be looking forward to this as the occasion will provide additional information about the new gaming device.
Little information is available with regards to the game that will be made available when Nintendo Switch gets released. It was rumored earlier that "Smash Bros" for Wii and 3DS will be one among the first batch of games that will be made available, but this was contradicted by insider Laura Kate Dale. "Bayonetta" and "Cloud Strife" amiibo figures are also on hold and is said to be released once the Switch versions of the game are ready, the report added.
It is also rumored that "Super Sunshine HD" and "Super Mario Galaxy 3" could also be launch titles for the new video game console. The information was discovered by eagle-eyed fans who happen to drop by the IMDB page of Charles Martinet, the voice behind Mario and Luigi for the western versions of Mario games. The page showed the upcoming release years of Martinet projects.
iTech Post added that several game developers and publishers have already shown their support for Nintendo's upcoming Switch. Some of biggest names include Activision, Atlus, Bethesda, Bandai Namco, Codemasters, Capcom, and FromSoftware.
In a related news, the company is also rumored to halt the production of its Wii U home console, and it is said to happen really soon. The Wii U has been in production since late 2012, and it will be replaced by the latest Switch come March next year.
