Fans wanting to learn the price of the upcoming Nintendo Switch do not have to wait much longer. Toys "R" Us has posted it already if it is not a placeholder.

The Nintendo Switch is priced at CAD329.99, which is around USD244, according to the listing. The amount is a direct conversion and does not take into account additional taxes that are applied on a per-country basis.

The page also provides a product description, which says: "Nintendo provided the first glimpse of its new home gaming system and revealed that it is called Nintendo Switch. In addition to providing single and multiplayer thrills at home, the Nintendo Switch system also enables gamers to play the same title wherever, whenever and with whomever they choose. The mobility of a handheld is now added to the power of a home gaming system to enable unprecedented new video game play styles."

It also added that the upcoming console would have a docking station that connects it to the TV, which will allow it to be enjoyed by family and friends in the comforts of their own homes. The Nintendo Switch will instantly turn into a portable device once it was taken out of its dock and can be the ultimate travel companion.

Given the price, if there is any truth in it, the upcoming device is an affordable gaming device, considering that it is both a handheld and a home console.

Nintendo has not released any information with regards to the hardware specification of its device, but the gaming community is speculating that it will be powerful, but not as much as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Rumors also suggest that an NDIVIA Pascal-based GPU and either a 14 or a 16 nmFET processor will be powering the device. Additionally, the device is said to offer around 3 hours game time on batteries, if heavy graphics games are played on it.

Nintendo Switch is expected to be released in March 2017.
