New Playstation 4 with 1TB storage release date set to land soon?

Ps4 sales are predicted to reach 80 million units by 2019. Playstation.com

The Sony Playstation 4 may have 500GB of storage in tow at the moment. However for the ones who have been frequently using the game console for multiple and various games, storage could be a problem.

Storage is seen as a problem for folks who have games and yet want the new ones available in the market but if these sightings over at the FCC (via DualShockers) are reliable, we could be seeing a much bigger PS4 sometime soon.

A discovery recently revealed that Sony has two new PlayStation 4 models over at the FCC, the only notable thing of which is the larger 1TB capacity.

Other than that, the PS4 spotted over there seems to be pretty much like what the PS4 is to date.

One of the two models spotted (CUH-1215A) does not seem to show changes on the outside and could be one that may have undergone an internal change. The said model seems to be more lightweight and is said to be more conservative as far as energy consumption is concerned.

Thus, some internal parts could be substituted to bring down manufacturing cost but will in all still carry the same specs of the PS4 we have today.

The other model, CUH-1215B, is the touted bigger capacity model (1TB) but with practically the same design. Once approved, folks who have yet to get a PS4 should have lesser woes especially when it comes to the number of games and space they would require to play popular PS4 games available.

Pricing remains a mystery for now on the larger 1TB PS4 but chances are it will have a price difference for sure. As far as the other model is concerned, could there be a price change ahead?

Sans the price, these new PS4 variants should bring their own advantages to the market. But of the two, it seems that many may go for the 1TB variant which hopefully will be officially announced by Sony soon.
