Netflix August 2016 new releases: Movies and TV series for the upcoming month announced

Netflix has just revealed its offering for the month of August 2016.

GameSpot shared that a huge number of movies will immediately land on the first day of August, including "Star Trek: Nemesis" (2002), the first and the third "The Fast and Furious" movies and "Beethoven's Christmas Adventure" (2011).

"The Curse of Sleeping Beauty" (2016), " The Last Heist (2016), and "Puffin Rock: Season 2," a Netflix original, will start airing by Aug. 17.

Some of the other movies landing on Aug. 1 are "The American Side" (2016), "An Inconvenient Truth" (2006), "APEX: The Story of the Hypercar" (2016), "Big Daddy" (1999), "Black Widow" (1987), "Critical Condition" (1987), "Deadfall" (2012), "Destination: Team USA" (2016), "Funny or Die Presents: Donald Trump's The Art of the Deal: The Movie ­(Netflix exclusive), "The Family Man" (2000) and "Final Destination 3" (2006).

Three Netflix originals will be viewable by Aug. 5, namely "David Cross: Making America Great Again" (2016), "Ever After High: Epic Winter" ­and "The Little Prince (2016). These will be followed by "St. Vincent" (2014), "Flight of the Butterflies (2012), "No Country for Old Men" (2007), plus several more Netflix original "Ask the StoryBots: Season 1," "The Get Down: Part 1," and "Project Mc2: Season 2," for the other days of the month.
