"NCIS" fans will soon rejoice as the midseason premiere draws closer. And judging by all the reports circulating online, it's going to be an interesting second half.

The back half of "NCIS" will see Timothy McGee and Delilah Fielding's relationship take center stage. The couple's first Valentine's Day together (since moving in) will be featured and Tim (Sean Murray) will have a hard time looking for the perfect gift for Delilah (Margo Harshman). The pair have been through a lot together and their relationship has certainly passed multiple tests. But will they get through the day of love in one piece?

Meanwhile, Donald "Ducky" Mallard will be called to remotely perform an autopsy for a group of deep sea divers. Someone among the group has been murdered and the rest of them have to rely on Ducky's instructions. Worst of all, perhaps, is that the group of divers must spend numerous days in a dive chamber with the corpse.

Of course, all this is very exciting, but there is something else that has caught fans' attention.

When "NCIS" season 13 returns with its 12th episode, Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette) will be put in a tough position. Her brother, Luca, who will reportedly be played by Tyler Ritter, will be the main suspect in a mass murder. Luca is the chef on a private plane en route to Washington D.C., but the plane's passengers will mysteriously get poisoned through the food, which will inexplicably make Luca look like the guilty party.

Episode 12 also happens to be the first part in a two-part special. "NCIS: New Orleans" will show the second part in the show's season 2 episode 12. The police procedural crossover will feature two investigative bodies working together on a single case. Reports say that part two will continue with Luca's case, with the teams finding a connection between the suspect and a Russian sleeper agent.

"NCIS" season 13 will resume with episode 12 titled "Sister City (Part I)" on Jan. 5, 2016.
