NBA trade rumors: Cleveland Cavaliers's Kevin Love may be traded off to Boston Celtics

With the Cleveland Cavaliers winning their first championship, a lot of fans see that this was made possible by the contributions of their star player, LeBron James, as well as their other stars such as Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love. However, based on his performance last season, it seems that Love is falling short of the Cavaliers' expectations and thus it is possible for him to be traded to the Boston Celtics.

According to the Parent Herald, their victory against the Golden State Warriors last season has made the Cavaliers aware that they still need to have their roster strengthened in order to ensure that the results will still be the same when they face off with the Warriors. After all, the challenge lies with the fact that the Warriors now have four powerful players: Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson.

As such, a lot of rumors are pointing out that Kevin Love does not seem to mesh well with the Cavaliers' current roster, and as such it is possible that the team is looking to trade him off for someone that could make the team more seamless. The Blow Sports actually highlights the fact that Love has seen significant drop in terms of performance after he started playing with James.

With the way things are going right now, it can be plainly seen that Kevin Love and the Cleveland Cavaliers are not meant to be together. Actually, the same report said that years back, Love and the Celtics had been negotiating for a deal, but due to differences, both parties moved on. However, this could be the perfect time for both to strike a deal in order to make Love play for the Celtics instead.

Regardless, there are other trade rumors about Kevin Love, and it is expected for the truth to come out in the coming weeks.
