 Official "NBA 2K16" Twitter account

"NBA 2K16" arrives later this month but before it does, players of the game will get a chance to have cheats and locker codes for "NBA 2K15" for September, Franchise Herald reported.

According to the report, these locker codes and cheats will reward players with more Virtual Currency (VC) points, as well as bonuses to make the game all the more exciting.

The locker codes for the game was given away on Twitter along with the message that "NBA 2K15" players will get special points before the next game installment is released.

Players will be entering the code, which according to reports is "#2K16NewsOn2KTV", and they will be awarded 1,600 VCs.

That's not all of it — more codes have been revealed by AutooMobile, which can be applied to various game platforms including Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 (PS3), PS4, and personal computer (PC).

The codes include "IWATCHEDNBA2KTV" and "PARKSWAG" and should grant players 1,000 and 500 VCs, respectively.

More locker and cheat codes have been revealed by Franchise Herald in its report and they can be used for this month.

VCs are not the only rewards players will get from the codes; the cheats mentioned above reportedly give away random prizes as well.

In addition, those who will pre-order the upcoming "NBA 2K16" will also enjoy some bonuses, as stated in Major Nelson's report.

A player will be entitled to 35,000 and 10,000 VCs for "NBA 2K15" "and "NBA 2K16," respectively.

Major Nelson also noted that pre-ordering "2K16" Michael Jordan Special Edition will grant players in-game rewards for the upcoming game, including digital Jordan footwear, Jordan T-shirt, and Jordan Jersey for MyPlayer; 30,000 VCs; MyTeam VIP Plus packs; and a Special Edition Exclusive Moments Card.

Meanwhile, fans are already excited about the arrival of "NBA 2K16," which will be on Sept. 29. A new trailer for the game has also been released and it contains features that should prove that the game is the most genuine sports game available.
