"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will have new Team Awakening feature added to its gameplay.

News of the Team Awakening feature being added to the game actually came from the Weekly Shonen Jump coming courtesy of the Anime News Network

In previous games from the "Naruto" franchise, players could activate an Awakening that would power up their characters and unlock a new array of abilities for them to use in battle, and now it appears as though that feature has been updated.

The Team Awakening feature now allows players to activate Awakening for all three of the characters they are currently using.

Players will be able to use one of the three characters actively in battle while the other two will remain in support but are still fully activated, according to Geek Snack.

The new Team Awakening feature can be activated by filling up the in-game Storm Gauge.

Team Awakening will now enable players to employ a more varied array of fighting strategies, giving them incentive to tinker around with the characters in an attempt to try to find the most successful combination.

Aside from the new Team Awakening feature, "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will also have the largest collection of characters in the history of the franchise.

The game's roster will include characters from all throughout the "Naruto" storyline, including the most recently released movie for the franchise, according to iDigital Times.

As an added bonus, players who will pre-order "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will also receive Boruto and Sarada from the "Naruto Gaiden" manga.

New costumes are also going to be added to the game, with Kakashi getting his Sixth Hokage costume and Sakura and Hinata receiving their outfits from "The Last: Naruto the Movie."

"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will be released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One this upcoming fall.
