After ABC announced that "Gilmore Girls" star David Sutcliffe landed a recurring role in the upcoming season of "Mistresses," another fresh face will join the mystery drama when the series returns for season 4.

TVLine broke the news that "Red Band Society" alum Wilson Cruz will join "Mistresses" season 4 as Dante, a "fiercely fabulous personal shopper" who will help chef Harry Davis (Brett Tucker) improve his fashion sense by updating his closet.

Meanwhile, Harry's sister Kate (Tabrett Bethell) will be at the center of the drama in the second episode of season 4. This time, she will seek the help of her brother and Joss (Jes Macallan) in dealing with her fiancé.

The synopsis for episode 2 titled "Mistaken Identity" reads:

"Harry's sister Kate surprise visits Harry and Joss and exposes problems she is having with her fiancé. Meanwhile, Joss struggles with celebrating her engagement with Harry. April (Rochelle Aytes) gets an exciting opportunity to apply for a painting fellowship, while Marc (Rob Mayes) has success joining a band. Karen (Yunjin Kim) struggles with her new role being known as a 'sexpert,' and she gets closer with the male 'manny' Robert (guest star Jerry O'Connell)."

But before Kate's problems will be tackled, Joss will show how the nerve-wracking events that happened in the third season finale will affect her life. Based on the trailer for the premiere episode, titled "The New Girls," Joss will still feel that her life is at risk after she experienced torture at the hands of Calista's (Jennifer Esposito) assistant Wilson (Jarod Joseph). Will this affect Joss's mood as she celebrates her engagement with Harry?

"Mistresses" season 4 will feature other guest stars such as Ian Harvie who will portray the role of rich financier Michael Hester, Tia Mowry as Karen's literary agent Barbara Rutledge, and Navid Negahban as the highly successful Persian businessman Jonathan Amadi who will help Henry in expanding his business. The upcoming season premieres on Monday, May 30, on ABC.
