"Mirror's Edge" fans have a few more weeks to wait until the "Catalyst" reboot hits the shelves. For the meantime, they can listen to the newly released track by Chvrches, which was made for the game.

Fans can now listen to the new track for the upcoming game, titled, "Warning Call." The song was created by the Scottish synthpop band and can be downloaded via Spotify or iTunes. It is the lead single on the game's soundtrack and the song reflects much of the outlook of Faith, the protagonist, against the conglomerate's ways of running the city of Glass.

Iain Cook, one of the members of the band, mentioned to Pitchfork that they "were honored to be asked to contribute to the soundtrack for 'Mirror's Edge Catalyst.' The sound of Chvrches' music resonates with the minimalist sci-fi dystopia of the Mirror's Edge world, and we feel that the song complements the drama, emotion and empowering themes of Faith's story."

The upcoming game will revolve around Faith Connors and players will help her attempt to overthrow the ruler of her city called Glass, where a conglomerate of corporations controls the city.

Connors is described as "A self-assured thrill-seeker... Faith Connors is one of the most skilled Runners in Glass. Her carefree attitude cannot last forever though. Someday she'll need to face up to the Conglomorate as well as her own troubled past."

"Mirror's Edge Catalyst" is a first-person action adventure game where players can explore the open-world type city through a series of parkour movements to evade enemies and complete missions. Players have the freedom to choose any way they want to reach the game's objectives. They can use zip-lines and ledges, naturally included in the game, as well as obtain equipment such as Mag Rope and Disruptor.

"Mirror's Edge Catalyst" will be released on June 7 for North America and June 9 for Europe. The game will be available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and for PC via Origin.
